There
are hundreds of movies released every year into the American Movie Market
including but not limited to: Hollywood Classics: Drama, Comedy, B Movies, Musicals, Animation, and Film Noir. There are
Foreign Films: French, Italian, Japanese, and other Foreign Language films.
There are films from the
British Isles and Commonwealth including Shakespeare Films, and Opera. There is a mix
of Contemporary film, Science Fiction,
Films based on Comic Book Characters, Comedy, Thrillers, Action, Horror,
Teen Films, Nonfiction Films,
Biographies, Experimental
Films, Dance Films, Adult films,
and Documentaries.
Movies
are really a matter of personal taste and interest, so most of the films released
each year appeal to a finite audience.
Some
of the films released to a general audience become Blockbuster’s and the films
make millions of dollars in profit, while making their creators and featured
actors popular cultural icons and international celebrities.
I'm
sure you will agree that most movies suck.
I
watch 400 movies every year, of which 300 are on Television, i.e. Video Tape,
DVD, Pay-Per-View, Cable Premium Channels, Made for T.V. features, TCM, TBS,
AMC, TNT, USA, WGN, Local stations, and Rentals.
The other 100 are seen in the Movie Theatre, i.e. Megaplex, or Cineplex
with multiple screens as they are now known.
I
have compiled a list of the 10 Top Stinkers of all time. My criteria was to find the 10 Worst Movies
ever made that were produced by experienced filmmakers, with savvy directors,
seasoned and experienced actors, and with adequate production and advertising
budgets.
